Welcome to Hyderabad

                                                                                                                                               The City of Charm

The City of Pearls, Cyberabad, the hub of Haleem, Pochampally sarees, Hyderabad has a number of labels to its name.

Every structure in the city – monuments, tombs, restaurants, bazaars – bears a vestige of the glorious history of the Nizams of Hyderabad, including the magnificent architecture of the era, which have been much written and sung about in books and movies. The Purani Haveli, the Chiran Palace complex (which belonged to the erstwhile Nizams of Hyderabad), and Paigah Tombs complex, among others are some of the exemplary monuments that have stood the test of time.

And skipping a visit to the iconic Charminar - the face of Hyderabad - is not only bound to invite frowns from the locals but also makes it an incomplete journey.

It is safe to christen Hyderabad the Middle East of India, considering the fervor with which Eid is celebrated across the city and across all religious faiths. An intense period of fasting and prayer is followed by exquisite iftars on streets near the Charminar, in the Old City, Toli Chowki and Pathergatti.
