Cities of Andaman:

  • Port Blair — the laid-back capital of the Andamans and Nicobar island which is the the only entry and exit point of Andaman is the first vision of the beauty of Andaman. But hold on there's much more to do, so take adeep breath and hop on a boat and begin the breath taking journey of exploring the beauty of the islands like Ross Island, Havelock, Neil, Nalipur and Little Andaman.

Famous Islands of Andaman:

  • Baratang Island —Thrill yourself at the mud volcano, limestone caves and mangrove creeks in backwaters which would be an adventure and beginning of being courageous for you.

Things to Do in Andaman

  • Scuba diving – Havelock Island is the main dive destination. South Cinque Island is also a good place for diving.
The best dive sites in the Andamans are in remote locations and are impossible to get without a private yacht charter.They are:  Narcondam Island (an extinct volcano), Invisible Bank (an extensive seamount, approx. 100 miles Southeast of Port Blair) and 4 spectacular but unnamed sea mounts off the west coast.
There is also a good wreck dive just south of North Brother Island. There are a small number of companies that operate live aboard diving and adventure charters in the Andaman Islands. 
  • Snorkeling – is a fun, popular activity done at North Bay, MuaTerra Beach and Havelock Island.The equipment is cheap, and can be bought or rented.
  • Surfing is possible on Little Andaman Island that would give alot of thrill and joy to you.
  • Explore corals reefs in glass bottom boats starting from Jolly Buoy Island, at the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park at Wandoor, 29 km from Port Blair.
  • Hop to the Andaman Trunk Road. The ride may be long, but the journey that takes you through some gorgeous reserve forests and up to Maya Bunder and beyond is worth travelling.
